Richard E. Browne, MD

Practicing Physician at Pure Cardiology and Attending Physician at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina

Richard E. Browne, MD graduated with honors from Boston University School of Medicine. He then completed an internship and residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, the major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. He remained on staff as an attending physician at Harvard Medical School before completing his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the University of Virginia, where he served as chief cardiology fellow in his final year. Currently, Dr. Browne is a practicing physician at Pure Cardiology and an attending physician at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Browne focuses his practice on the prevention of cardiovascular disease and lectures nationally on multiple topics pertaining to state of the art management of these types of patients.
